Melissa and her husband Bob live in Greensburg with their two daughters, Emily and Cora. Having lived here nearly her whole life, she was looking for ways to give back to the town she loves when she found Rotary of Westmoreland.
Melissa has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Pitt-Greensburg and an M.Ed. in research methodology from the University of Pittsburgh, but she never decided what she wanted to be when she grew up. Among other things, she’s been a quality manager, a teacher, and a marketer. Though the roles changed, one thing was consistent: Melissa was known for being the go-to girl among her co-workers for writing and editing advice. Taking her writing and marketing skills and applying them to a career as a freelancer was the perfect solution. She now owns lehmanwrites.com and crafts website content, email copy, articles, case studies, and other marking collateral that clearly convey features, benefits, and branding to help companies convert prospects to clients.
Melissa enjoys running (literally) around Greensburg, watching her daughters at swim practice,
spending time with friends and family, and a really good handbag.
